She’s one of the people whom I can rely on easily with my problem especially when I needed someone to talk too and she would do anything for me but like all brothers and sisters we fight like cats and dogs. Sometimes when no one was around Maria Lourdes come up to me and make bonding. I still love her but only because she is my sister.
My name is Maria Glenda Catane Capin. People usually called me as Glenda, Glen, Glendz, Ate Capz, Ate Glen, Maria, Margz, Margie, Ghie and my family called me as Popo, Poping, and Poking. I started my schooling when I was five years of age. I went to kindergarten through 2nd grade at Saint Mary Kinder and while I was there, I won awards then we migrated to Cagayan De Oro City of which I accomplished my elementary days with an awrds and honor at Bulua Central School-Bulua, Cagayan De Oro City. Then I attended my 1st secondary School at Iponan National High School – Iponan , Cagayan De Oro City and there I also won a couple of awards and honor roll all third terms then after ten years of growing , accomplishing my elementary at Cagayan De Oro City, I come back to Iligan to continue my studies. I enrolled as a 2nd year student at Iligan City East High School –Sta. Felomina, there I become a Class President even subjects. I joined clubs naming Biology, Physic, Mathematics, English, Filipino and Red Cross Organization. I won and received medals on some sports competitions and extra curricular activities then when I was third year I received a certificate of membership of joining the speech and dram club. On 4th year I become a vice president on my physic’s subject at the same time representative in the whole class for the Campos. And now I am a college student of Mindanao State University- Iligan Institute of Technology takin up General Education. The happiest part of my life is that until now my family is almost intact. My hobbies and talents are Reading Tagalong and English Literature Books, Writing a story of which I publish on my websites, Surfing the net, Watching Movie or TV program, Talk Show, Educational Program then if I have more extra time I usually spent with it on Painting, Drawing Animation, Cross Stitch, Online Games, Making more websites of mine the beautifying it. Literate on Microsoft. The languages I speak are Bisaya , Tagalog and English. My college experience; going beyond the classroom, there are few times in which a person experiences change as rapid as the transition from high school to college. My freshman year is very exciting, but it can also be overwhelming. From deciding how many course work hours to take, to getting involved on campus with sports, arts, and organization- it feels like the choices never end. All this, and learning to balance priorities in a new social environment. The ultimate course a student chooses for the journey though college is uniquely personal-but learning from others experiences, creating goals and beginning activities with a goal in mind can lead to a successful college career. My personality is a unique gateway to my future success. I attain adequate experience in communication skills; whether it’s among my peers, in a classroom atmosphere. I enjoy passing my knowledge onto others for a good cause. Therefore it is a big plus in my managerial skills. I have strength in organization, developing new ideas and socializing. I become aware of my weaknesses as I did a few of the assessment exercises and monitored my behavior in the work and school atmosphere. I have discovered that my weakness is persistency. Even though I’m enthusiastic about my work and like what I do, I noticed that I often don’t make it on time basically for no specific reason and look forward to days off. Another weakness of mine, although it’s a semi weakness is stress management. I sometimes find it hard to complete numerous tasks at a certain time limit, because time for me is limited. Not getting things done builds up stress and causes aggravation. A career that will suit my strengths would be one where I pick my own schedule.
Life to me means friends and family who you can trust and who trusts you. I am pretty much on the happy side of life, but like all teens I do have my “days of.” That means I do have some sad days or depressed days. I have a few friends here that sort of look out for me and when I’am having a bad day, I have someone here at college to talk too. I make my college days go by thinking of either the next hour or what I will do when I get home. Our life in this world is limited. We are all going to die sooner or later. I want to live without regret. We need a variety of knowledge, intellect, and wisdom to support it. Life is an attempt to acquire an interdisciplinary, organized, knowledge; intellect and wisdom that help us live our limited lives without regret. In order to attain it, we have to explore a new field of philosophy, humanities and social sciences. We seek to promote research on the meaning of life, the essence of contemporary industrialized society that makes us lose sight of fulfillment of life and the fate of scientific technology that results in the exploitation of human life and environment. Life is an open research program any person concerned can join. The ultimate end of life is to support people to actually live their own lives without regret. We connect philosophical wisdom, academic and researcher’s own life. College life is one of the most exciting, fun and important opportunities in life. It’s a time to get an education, develop leadership skills, gain independence and make decisions that affect life forever. College is about more than just what you learn in a classroom- in many ways it’s also a first career by making the right choices and learning from the wrong ones, college becomes the foundation for success and fulfillment in life. Many of us say “I want to achieve my dreams,” but are not sure where to begin. We want more out of life but feel stuck and unsure of what steps to take to create real change in our lives. It is not enough to wish for something better; I must give myself the tools to achieve it and then utilize those tools. I put myself in the position to make real changes in my life by exploring what life motivations have to offer. People fail to achieve their goals in life for many reasons but the most common explanation is that we simply don’t try. Why not? Because trial naturally involves the risk of failure. Some believe it’s safer never to try in that way they’ll never fail. But not me! Because I’m not scared to try, to build my own. I’m willing to take the first step to achieve that goal what I’ve just dome is more that many will ever do.
The year 2018 will make eleven years since I graduated from college. I think I probably be still living here in Philippines or in the states. I will be quite comfortable with my situation with my stable job, meaning that I will have comfortable life together with my loving sweet and most of all supportive own family. Then I support my family and ill be the one who send my little sister to school.
As I said in the beginning, I was born here in Iligan Lanao Del Norte and living with comfortable life. I would like to see more of the Philippines and States together with my family. I hope you have enjoyed reading my life story as much as I have enjoyed writing it for you. Try to get as much as you can out have school; you’re only there for twelve years and when you graduate, you’re home free. Here’s a tip for you to live or try to live by: If you think it, it can be done.
To create real change in this world, you have to have a vision, and you have to have enormous perseverance. It's the same principle that applies in any entrepreneurial adventure, Everyone thinks of changing the world, but no one thinks of changing himself If we don't change the direction we're going, we're likely to end up where we are headed We must not, in trying to think about how we can make a big difference, ignore the small daily differences we can make which, over time, add up to big differences that we often cannot foresee The possibility that we may fail in the struggle ought not to deter us from the support of a cause we believe to be just. The tragedy in life doesn't lie in not reaching your goal. The tragedy lies in having no goal to reach.
